Jo has worked in complementary health care for nearly 30 years, initially as the Manager of Neal’s Yard Remedies’ flagship store in Covent Garden where she gained experience in all aspects of complementary medicine as well as studying different forms of massage and bodywork. Jo received her BSc(Hons) in Acupuncture from the prestigious College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, and for the past fifteen years has had clinics at Neal's Yard Remedies in Salisbury and at the Arch Clinic in Fordingbridge.

Although Jo is a general practitioner, she has undertaken advanced training in many aspects of women’s health and fertility acupuncture, and also has a special interest in pain management. Jo is a member of the British Acupuncture Council.
