Tracie Bowerman PGDip CBT, BA (Hons) Counselling, BSc (Hons) Social Care (Children and Families), MBACP (Accred.), MNCS (Accred.) - Counsellor

TracieBowerman

Coming to therapy can be a relief although it can also feel like a step into the unknown and be frightening.  I am a warm, empathetic and experienced therapist and my first priority is to support you to feel more at ease.

I have ten years' experience of working within the mental health field and qualified as a therapist in 2006.  Since that time, I have gained experience working in GP surgeries, as  an independent practitioner and at The Priory Hospital in Southampton as a Senior Therapist.

My specialist areas of concern are Anxiety and Depression although all problems are treated.  As a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT), I will gently facilitate a change in your behaviours, thinking and emotions so that you may cope more readily and confidently with daily life.

To book an appointment, or for further information, please contact Tracie on 07981 620795, email at tracie.b.cbt@btinternet.com, or visit her website www.cbttherapysouth.co.uk.

Advanced Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and Personal Development

Hi I’m Lisa Skeffington.

I have recently re-located to the New Forest area and am delighted to be joining a friendly and professional team at the Arch Private Health Clinic in Fordingbridge.

I specialise in all kinds of psychological and physiological anxiety disorders, as well as all aspects of confidence, for both adults and children.

Modern Advanced Hypnotherapy is a pro-active process that can create positive change.  It combines conversational style with a speedy form of psychotherapy.  It is not passive, there is no spell and you keep control.  Using CBT and NLP in hypnosis is very powerful because it allows you to actively ‘try on’ and ‘rehearse’ new beliefs and behaviours in a safe way, with heightened thought and feeling.  In essence, you don’t just ‘talk it’ you ‘walk the talk too’.  This convinces your subconscious that positive choices for change are for your benefit, so you are better conditioned to move forward successfully as you choose to embrace change.

I began a career in complementary therapy thirteen years ago through a genuine desire to help others to cope better with the demands of modern living. My previous practice in Buckinghamshire was largely referral based from a number of GPs and counsellors in the local area.

I am passionate about helping busy people - like you, and their families to feel less stressed, less anxious and more confident so that you can be more happy, healthy and relaxed.  Achieving balance in your life means you can enjoy being ‘You’ so you get more out of your relationships and live life more fully. As you grow to understand yourself more, physiological symptoms of chronic anxiety such as IBS, M.E., and Asthma may be substantially improved.

I also care deeply about helping children to celebrate who they are, to learn ways to free themselves from unwanted and unnecessary limiting beliefs that hold them back socially and academically and, which prevent them from being the amazing, talented young person they are truly meant to be.

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)

David Groeger

David_GroegerNeuro Linguistic Programming was developed by Dr Richard Bandler, an American author on modern psychological techniques.  Dr Bandler became interested in the natural processes by which people make changes and how they learn.  He then analyzed the steps that people took in their thinking during the process of change.  By observing and modeling the way successful people think, he developed NLP.

NLP is a set of tools by which people can make profound changes quickly and safely.  It can help with fears and phobias, anxiety, grief and loss, weight loss, problem solving and overcoming bad habits and compulsions.

David Groeger studied NLP with Richard Bandler and John LaValle and is a licensed practitioner of NLP.

To find out more about how NLP may help you, please contact David on david.groeger@btinternet.com or telephone The ARCH Clinic on 01425 650074.
